Freddy's Nightmares - The Complete Series...FREE!

If you thought you'd seen all there was to see of Freddy Krueger, think again! So you've seen Elm Streets 1-6 a million times and you even sit through New Nightmare because you're a Krueger completionist. Freddy vs Jason is required weekly viewing. What else is there? Back in the late 80's, Freddy had his own television series, titled Freddy's Nightmares! The show lasted 2 seasons with a total of 44 episodes and, oh yes, Robert Englund starred. This isn't like the Friday the 13th series where it's got nothing to do with Jason, Freddy appears in every single one of these sumbitches, playing a crypt keeper of sorts ; presenting nightmarish tales of terror. Now aside from finding vhs copies of the series at a local yard sale, shelling out $60 for a bootleg dvd copy at a horror convention, or just plain illegaly downloading the show on your favorite torrent website, there's really no way to watch Freddy's Nightmares. Or is there?

Thanks to the website Truveo, you now can watch each and every single episode for absolutely free! Well, apparently you've been able to for the past two years, but i'm a little behind the curve.

And check out the episode "Black Tickets" for a very young Brad Pitt in Springwood! Also keep an eye out for Bill Moseley in the same episode! And check back here soon where i'll be doing a post on the early horror film roles of today's established stars!

It looks like Truveo got taken over. I got the first 3 episodes from a DVD released in England. You can get it from Amazon UK. Unfortunately you can only change drive regions on your computer 4 - 5 times. This one is worth two of those times. The first episode was a good prequel.
