Frightfest is the UK's annual fantasy and horror film festival, which took place this year the 21st-25th of August. Some of the best horror films of the past several years have premiered at Frightest and...well...that's all besides the point im trying to arrive at.
Filmmakers Adam Green (Hatchet) and Joe Lynch (Wrong Turn 2) filmed a series of 5 videos to be played before each main feature on each of the five days. Five clever little odes to horror cinema, chock full of celeb cameos, fanboy talk, and injokes only the likes of us nerds would get and enjoy. Throughout the next couple of weeks, the Frightfest website is gonna be bringing them to all of us US fans who couldn't make it to fest, the first of which was put up just a couple of days ago.
This one is called "Horror Themes" and is essentially a spoof on the Dan Aykroyd/Albert Brooks opening of the Twilight Zone movie. It's one of the funniest most brilliant little things i've seen and I had to share.
