What if a message popped up on your computer telling you that if you didn't send that message to five people within a five minute period, you would die? Well, you've probably gotten emails like that before and thought nothing of them. But what if after the five minutes, a mysterious figure actually appeared in your room and killed you!
Ok, so it would never happen (although it'd be kinda cool...we need a little thinning out of the population!) and it's really not a new concept in any stretch, but Tom Holland, the man who brought us Fright Night and Child's Play, has just kicked off his new webseries 5 or Die and the pilot episode just landed on the net today. Holland also directed Thinner and The Langoliers, by the way.

To be honest, this looks more like something a no budget student filmmaker who just bought a 50% off cheesy Halloween mask and thinks it's gonna be his ticket to stardom would make as opposed to an established one whos already got a few classics under his belt, but if all the series provides is brutal killings of bad actors, who can complain!? It was kinda fun to watch, I guess!
