Interesting Horror Fact Of The Week!

It's that time of the week again and I have a feeling this one is really gonna blow your mind! It certaintly blew mine when I made the discovery. In fact, I can still hardly believe it...

Do you know who directed 1974's holiday horror classic Black Christmas?

Bob Clark.

Do you know who directed 1983's family holiday classic A Christmas Story?

Bob Clark!

That's right! In a span of only 9 years, one man directed both the best Christmas horror flick of all time and, by most peoples opinions, the best Christmas movie period of all time! I say most peoples opinions because i'm a Christmas Vacation man myself.

The Black Christmas remake even payed homage to this fact by having the famed Christmas Story leg lamp appear in the background of several scenes at the sorority house!

Sadly, Bob Clark and his son were killed by a drunk driver in a head on automobile collision on April 4th of last year. Drink and drive and kill a genius director! Good job, asshole!

On the subject of A Christmas Story, here's another interesting little tidbit for ya. 2 for 1 this week! Zack Ward, the kid who played the evil bully Scut Farkus in the flick, was in Freddy VS Jason!

Ya learn something new everyday at Freddy In Space!

Zack Ward could be a prime candidate to play Freddy in the upcoming Nightmare remake.
