On The 14th Day Of Christmas...

Freddy In Space gave to me...

The birth of a horror icon...THE GINGERDEAD MAN!

Photobucket

Now The Gingerdead Man isn't exactly a Christmas film per se, but if gingerbread cookies aren't a pivotal point of the holiday, then I just don't know what is! Besides, is anyone complaining that i'm posting a clip of Gary Busey as a killer cookie?

Busey plays Millard Findlemeyer, a maniacal killer (that's a stretch, huh?) who's just been executed thanks to the testimony of Sarah Leigh, a young gal he mistakenly left alive in a diner massacre. Leigh works for a bakery owned by her mother and one day, shortly after the execution, a mysterious woman leaves a package at the door step containing gingerbread cookie mix. This mysterious woman is Mrs. Findlemeyer, and you can bet your ass that she put her son's ashes into the mix. While mixing the dough, Sarah's co-worker cuts his hand and a few drops of his blood manage to spill unnoticed into the batch. And that brings us to this clip, wherein Sarah is beginning to make and cook the giant gingerbread cookie which will soon be the resurrected and angry Gary Busey...

If ya want more Gingerdead Man, check out my full review of the flick that I recently posted on Benevolent Street here. And if ya still want more, come back tommorow for a clip from the sequel, Gingerdead Man 2 : The Passion Of The Crust! See ya then!

HA!

After being aware of this film, for a while now, I finally decided to give in and add it to my Netflix Queue [though I think that I will wait till this time, next year, to view it]
There are just too many other worthwhile films that are out there, I am sure! :-)

I personally think the viewing of this flick should not wait, but to each his own! As long as ya see it at some point!

I have this and the sequel in my Netflix queue as well. This looks so bad that it's probably an awesomely entertaining watch. Can't wait to check this out.
