Why am I posting a blog about a 311 music video? Because this brand spankin new video was directed by a man I fully support and appreciate to no end for being a big contributing factor in inspiring me to keep this blog going, Joe Lynch. Not to mention i'm just plain a huge fan of his work and his blog (cheap plug!). Just so this doesn't seem completely off topic, Lynch directed Wrong Turn 2 (add to Netflix) and if you haven't seen it yet, I suggest ya check it out! Henry Rollins vs mutant hilbillys, what's not to love? But anyway, I know Joe has been busting his ass for a while now to get this video in the can and it was finally put on the net today and I just wanted to pop on real quick to tell you guys to check it out.

I hate to be a dickhead because I really like this guy but...
having seen Wrong Turn 2, I've been following his blog too and - don't you think video is kind of unimaginative?
He should have made something less generic and more interesting, this is kinda "indie band video 101".
As I said, I hate to be an idiot 'cause I really like him but this video is just...boring. Sorry! (I was going to post this on his blog but I didn't wanna upset him or anything).

To each his own, can't fault you for your opinion! If you want something a little more wild and off the wall, check out some of the other music videos Lynch has directed over at his website. The one from Strapping Young Lad is a particularly kick ass Evil Dead inspired vid.
