David Lynch's Interview Project - Must See

I'd like to first thank the awesome movie blog Live For Films for bringing this to my attention. Live For Films is essentially my one stop shop for all the latest movie news, trailers, you name it. Phil Edwards, the dude who runs it, clearly and quite literally does live for films and he somehow manages to update a good 500 times a month. Be sure to check the site out.

This isn't exactly horror related although the name David Lynch is pretty synonomous with horror and all things strange and bizarre. He's the genius behind movies like Mulholland Dr, Blue Velvet, Eraserhead, and Elephant Man and his newest project is perhaps even more compelling and interesting than those films. It's called The Interview Project. Lynch has compiled a team that basically embarked on a road trip around the world and interviewed real people they found along the way about their lives. Let me let the man himself explain it to you as he's a lot more eloquent than I .....

A new interview will be posted every three days for the next year and the series was just kicked off yesterday with an interview with a 64 year old man by the name of Jess that was found sitting on the side of the road in Needles, Calfornia. Check out Episode 1 :

If this catches your interest, bookmark the official website and check there every few days for a new interview. You can also follow The Interview Project on both Facebook and Twitter.

I personally think this is a brilliant idea as there is really nothing more interesting than the lives and stories of the human beings we enounter on a daily basis. Anyone else interested in this?

Only Lynch would do this, but the real question is why didn't anyone think of this before? The truth is stranger than fiction after all.
