Gobstopper - Christopher Lloyd as a Killer Willy Wonka!

Is there anything better than a fake horror trailer? Ever since Grindhouse they've kinda become all the rage and i'm really loving the trend. Bottom line is that most horror movies, even at an hour and a half, get very boring at times. You just want to see blood, guts, tits, and ass, but you're forced to sit through horrible things like plot and characterization to get to all the fun! Well, the fake trailer cuts through all that bullshit and gives you all the good stuff in one short package. Now whenever an awesome fake trailer comes out, like Thanksgiving or Hobo With a Shotgun, everyone always says things like "Why can't this be a real movie!" and "Make this into a real movie!". But the thing is, the very reason these trailers are so awesome is because they're not real. It's because they're short and sweet. And in most cases, if they were turned into actual movies, they'd become boring and lose some of their luster. And the same people who begged for it to be made into a real movie would probably be saying "They've should've left it as a trailer....". So I guess my point is, be happy with the fake trailer and be happy you're getting all the good bits of the movie without all the crap!

Short and sweet quite literally describes the trailer that I stumbled upon today, thanks to the blog No Comment. After doing some digging I realized that this trailer has been around since March (how did I not hear of it till now?!) and actually debuted at the SXSW Film Festival this year, under the guise that it was a real movie that was coming out soon! The audience must've flipped their shit!

I give you, Christopher Lloyd in GOBSTOPPER!

Ok, I take back what I said above. Make this into a full length real movie right this instant!
