TREEVENGE!

Photobucket

I talked a little bit about Treevenge, the killer Christmas tree short from Hobo With a Shotgun director Jason Eisener, around Christmas time last year and today is the day that this masterpiece can finally be seen by the mass public! TwitchFilm.net has just posted the 15 minute short in full and I don't use the word masterpiece often but when I just used it to describe Treevenge, I meant each and every syllable of it! I'm not gonna say anymore because I don't want to keep you away from Treevenge for even a second longer!

Is that not the greatest 15 minutes in film history? If Jason Eisener isn't the future of the horror/comedy, then I don't know who is! When this dude gets around to making a feature length flick, it is going to be EPIC.

Ha! Us horror bloggers're so predictable, one thing gets out on the net and then we're ALL talking about it :D !

(Any ideas on, um, how to download this video? I've seen it & they're gonna take it down eventually - since there's no DVD of it.)

I usually try and stay away from blogging about things that every other horror blogger is blogging about, but I simply couldn't hold back on this one. I felt it should be seen by as many people as possible and thus, every horror blogger should repost it!

As for downloading it, can't help ya there.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I don't mind, it's nice that we can all appreciate the same things. Especially when it's as AWESOME as this is! I even posted about it on some forums because I didn't want them to miss out.

I'll have to give up on the downloading thing, I'm not savvy enough.

Holy shit that was cool! That is what "The Happening" should have been like! Very well made, if I did not know better I would have thought it actually was from the 70s. I loved the sound effects. Was it me or did most of the "tree talk" sound like clips the Ewoks from Return of the Jedi?

I've got firefox!

...and I've still no idea how to do it. How lame am I?

Jason, they totally do sound like Ewoks! My favorite 'tree talk' sound though was the dolphin audio clip when the one tree axes that dudes leg off. Genius.

Zac, I have Firefox and I have no idea how to do that either!

With Fire fox you can get add ons that allow you to download clips on to your computer. I use this alot for youtube videos.
