I've gotten a few e-mails from people asking where i've been and why I haven't been updating and now that i've got a few spare minutes to hop online, I wanted to address that. This past week has been very rough and incredibly hectic. My girlfriend's mom was diagnosed with leukemia about a month and a half ago and she took a turn for the worse last week. After a few days in hospice, she passed away this past Sunday. Needless to say, blogging (and my normal life) has been put on the backburner for the past several days. I haven't even seen Halloween 2 or The Final Destination yet, much less gotten a chance to review them, and I missed True Blood on Sunday, so i've got a lot of catching up to do in these next few days. I will put up the last three links in the '31 Days, 31 Links' feature and I will get reviews of both of those films, Grace, and my thoughts on last week's True Blood posted as soon as possible. Just give me a couple more days to get everything back on track and we'll return to business as usual around here.

I`m sorry to hear about you mother in law. Always tragic when things like this happens. I think people dying of old age is hard to cope with, but things like this is just gruesome.
The way I see it family and your personal business comes first, no matter what other things that need to be done.
So take care of your family and yourself and take some time of to recover :-)
Take all the time you need. My father died last Feb. the same week the Friday the 13th remake came out and I barely caught it in theatres because I just was not in the mood.
Sorry for the loss you have both had. My thoughts go out to you. Take care & take your time, the blog world will be here.

First of all I want to say that I'm really sorry to hear about Jen's mom-my condolances go out to the both of you and your families. I completely agree with everything Bjornabo said; please take all the time that you need for Jen and yourself because your family is the most important concern above all. My thoughts are with you both, and whenever you are ready to come back to the site, we'll all be glad to hear from you. Take care.

I just wanted to thank everyone for their sympathy and kindness for our loss. Sorry for not responding sooner, a lot of changes have been going on around here and things are just settling down. Thank you again for everything.
