The Halloween Giveaways Begin NOW!

Well actually, they begin in just a second here. First, i'd like to announce the four winners of the Z.O.M.B.I.E. contest, which has just come to a close. Drum roll please....

The 3rd Prize winner is CORWIN WEBB of San Diego, California!

The 2nd Prize winner is DAN MALENKI of Elk Grove Village, Illinois!

The 1st Prize winner is JOE MELLO of Cherry Valley, Massachusetts!

And the Grand Prize winner is ERIN ROSE TOLLEFSEN of Machesney Park, Illinois!!

Congratulations to all four of you! If you weren't lucky enough to win a few of these 'zombies in my pockets', you can always head over to October Toys and pick them up for yourself!

And now, without further delay, THE HALLOWEEN GIVEAWAYS (REALLY THIS TIME) BEGIN NOW!!!

So here's how this is gonna work. It's October, the best month of the year, and i'm gonna celebrate that month to the fullest - by giving you guys a bunch of free shit! Think of it like Christmas on Halloween. Every single week of October, beginning today, I will be giving away a brand spankin new and incredibly awesome prize. Each contest will run the duration of one week and at the end of that week, the next contest will be posted and so on. If my math is correct, that's a total of five weeks and five prizes that will be doled out this month. Get it? Got it? Good.

So what am I giving away as part of week one of the great big Halloween Giveaway? Take a look!

Photobucket

It's Mezco's just released 2 inch Freddy Krueger 'Tiny Terrors', from their Cinema of Fear line! This prize is extra special because I went out and snatched it up myself for the specific reason of giving it away to one of you awesome readers. If you want it, here's all ya gotta do to enter :

Leave a comment below telling me your favorite movie to watch on Halloween night. Be sure to INCLUDE YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS so that I can contact you in the event that you win. Contest is open to EVERYONE. Entry period will run through Thursday, October 8th, with a winner being chosen on the 9th.

Good Luck!

Wow - Thanks man! Can't believe I won First Prize - Woohoo!

So, am I now ineligible for the rest of the month? Cool if I am, just asking.

And this is a great idea, you are too good to your horrific fans. ;)

Unlike most sites out there, winning one contest on here does NOT make you ineligible for any future contests, no matter how soon after they are. So enter away! =)

I always go with the Universal Monsters on Halloween night. Those and a few other classics. Night of the Living Dead, House on Haunted Hill. Those always set the mood for the evening.

Wings said...

Well then...

My favorite for Halloween night is John Carpenter's classic "Halloween". Cliche? Maybe, but I love it and it IS Halloween, to me. I also try and squeeze in more of the series, as I am able to.

I also like to flick around the dial and see what flicks are airing that look cool. I have fond memories of handing out candy a few years ago while finally getting a chance to watch "The Funhouse". Good stuff!

Last year I watched a romantic comedy on Halloween night, so I kind of ruined it. Usually though, I watch DAWN OF THE DEAD on Halloween.

I should probably start a new tradition, and pick something different. Great contest!

Well like many other people here, I have to go with Halloween. It's a classic and I love watching as many of the films on Halloween every year. Being on the same day adds a sense of fun to the films. Michael Myers is such a mysterious and demented killer, the deaths are fun, and there are so many strong characters that contribute to the film.

My favorite movie to watch on Halloween night is of course the one that started it all, the Orginal Halloween movie. I remember the first time I saw it, and to this day I have never been so scared by any movie in my life. What an awesome prize. I would soooooo love to win this to display in my humble home.

It's a hard question because I usually have movie marathons on Halloween, watching a slew of wonderfully gory classics.

But if I have to choose a favorite--and I guess I do--it has to be Dead/Alive. There's just nothing quite like a ratmonkey on Halloween.
