I Love You Already, October

I was pretty sure I was gonna have to order through Amazon this year in order to get my yearly monster cereal fix and in fact I just made a post a couple days back about the fact that I can never find my favorite ghost or pink Frankenstein on store shelves in my area, but i'm happy to report that October has reared her beautifully ugly head and already bestowed upon me an incredible gift. Behold!



At just $1.99 a box, and with cut-out 'posters' on the backs of each, you better believe I got myself all stocked up for the season and beyond. Halloween just aint Halloween without Boo and F-Berry - no disrespect to Count Choc, and no i'm not racist, it's just that he's easily obtainable in my area all year round. God bless you, Target!

Another reason I love October, aside from the incredibly obvious, is because many companies embrace the flavor of the pumpkin and love to infuse it into whatever they can conceivably infuse it into. There's pumpkin ice cream, pumpkin coffee, pumpkin donuts, pumpkin candles, and even pumpkin curry - which I would have a picture up of Jen modeling but it seems to have mysteriously vanished from the house. It's as delicious as it may or may not sound to you, take my word for it.



But perhaps best of all are the pumpkin flavored adult beverages that flood the market around this time of the year, which i'm about to sit back and enjoy with a nice horror flick.
