The Many Terrible Masks of Michael Myers!

Last Halloween I did a post called The Many Masks of Michael Myers - where I took a look at and dissected the several different masks Mikey has worn in the Halloween flicks - and I thought this season we'd take a look at the many horrible Michael Myers replica masks there are being sold out there. I've been on the hunt for a good Myers mask for several months now and i've found only one or two good looking ones in that entire time - and they both went for over $200. At this point i'm willing to spend what it takes to get a quality mask and you'll see why once you take a gander at some of the crap that's out there. You truly do get what ya pay for. You'd think making a Michael Myers mask would be pretty easy to do, being that it's a pretty simple design, but you'd be surprised at how badly so many companies have fucked it up and turned such a cool looking mask into such a hideous and laughable abomination. So lets take a look at The Many Terrible Masks of Michael Myers!



























What's sad is that some of those masks look pretty similar to the awful ones that were used in some of the sequels - some even looking better than those used on screen! I've said it before and i'll say it again - if Rob Zombie did one thing right with Halloween, it's that he brought us the coolest looking Myers mask to date, which is why i'm currently looking for a replica Zombie Myers mask. The hunt continues and I have a strong feeling that my wallet will be getting incredibly lighter real soon. That is, if I can even find a mask worth shelling out the cash for. Anyone know of a place other than Ebay?
