DVD Update - Georgia Style!

Pretty massive DVD update this time around, thanks in large part to my trip to Georgia. Most of these came from there with the large majority of them coming from a going out of business Hollywood Video in the town we stayed in. When we got to Georgia, everything was 50-60% off with rentals 3 for $12 and by the time we were heading out, everything had dropped to 70% off with rentals 3 for $10 - these are the results of those once in a lifetime blowout sales that I took full advantage of.

All that for just around 100 bucks - i'd say I made out pretty well!

Albino Farm? That sounds like my worst nightmare.

Murder Party was unexpectedly a lot of fun. I think you'll dig it.

I know I gotta always be the video quality asshole, but Lionsgate's Near Dark Blu-ray looks terrible. No better than the DVD with zero fine detail and less supplements.

Bah, bummed to hear that. Oh well, it was only $7.99 at BJ's,

Massive score, Johnny! You'll have to let me know how Murder Party turns out. I've heard mixed reviews, but it sounds like quirky, bloody fun.

Nice haul, Johnny! Our Hollywood Video is due to close in May, so I can't wait to dance on its ashes as a former employee.

I think I bought my copy of Santa's Slay for 3 dollars at Moviestop (think Gamestop for movies), only because my Dad needed a Santa Claus horror movie.

Looks like you scored pretty good there! I know I managed to grab a couple of those same titles when the local Hollywood Video went out of business. Sad to see another video store bite the dust, though.
