Why is it that in every movie dealing with exorcism, the possessed girl wears a nightgown?

Ha, perhaps.
I admit that the image of a possessed girl in a nightgown is pretty creepy, but you'd think filmmakers would want to set themselves apart from the pack at this point.
Oh well, still excited for Last Exorcism!

My guess is that typically the possessed are "sick" or misdiagnosed as such and put to bed. When I'm sick I like to get cozy in my jammies.
Uhhhh...hmm....dunno. But, another thing I'd like to know is....."How exactly do you get into the position in the last picture?!?!" Scary contortionist horror....yo.
Easier to conceal wires needed for special effects trickery.
well, they're usually in beds, and it'd be weird if they were naked.

And actually I think it'd be kinda sexy if a possessed chick was contorting in all kinds of wild positions while naked. But maybe that's just me!
well, two of the three girls mentioned are children... so that kind of changes things slightly.

And for the record Ashley Bell is in her mid twenties, making it quite normal and ok for me to want to see her nude. Not that I even said I wanted to see the above three actresses nude, I merely said a possessed demon chick contorting all around while nude would be cool.
