Though I don't have a single one in my collection, i've always been way into browsing through model kits on the web. While the big toy companies generally only release figures based on bigger name horror movies, artists from around the globe have been for years utilizing the model kit platform to give collectors toys based on movies/characters that the bigger companies will probably never delve into it. A model kit is basically a blank piece by piece reproduction of an artist's sculpture, which the collector can then put together and paint however they see fit. Other times, the artists just sell them fully painted and fully put together, which is great for talentless folks like me. Here are 11 kickass horror kits I have recently come across in my travels, most based on movies we will likely never see official action figure releases of!

I think I need the Phantasm model for the dashboard of my car and the Gate model to sneakily hide around the house/basement for when the wifey's doin' laundry. :)
House is one of my all time favorite horror movies ever!!!
