Pretty funny little news blurb that I caught in yesterday's Daily News and got quite a little kick out of. It seems The Asylum's Snakes on a Plane ripoff, Snakes on a Train, has come to life!
In Vietnam, it's snakes on a train!
HANOI - Railway officials have discovered snakes on a train in Vietnam - highly venomous king cobras in bags under a seat.
Railroad official Pham Quynh says passengers were terrified when four cloth bags containing the writhing cobras were spotted Friday. The snakes were alive, but their mouths had been stitched shut.
Security staff removed the cobras, which were probably destined for restaurants in Hanoi.
Quynh says the cobras were given to forest rangers, who released them into the wild over the weekend after no one claimed them.

How much do you wanna bet that the person who came up with that headline thought he was making a totally original and clever reference to Snakes on a Plane, not realizing The Asylum beat him to it years ago?
