Waaaay back in September of 2009, I linked up with a company called October Toys to do a little giveaway for a couple different prize packs of their Monsters In My Pocket/M.U.S.C.L.E. style Z.O.M.B.I.E. toys, which were just hitting the market at the time. Here we are three years later, and the company has once again tapped into those vintage stylings, with a line called OMFG; Outlandish Mini Figure Guys. Series 1 of those toys is available now from their online shop, and tonight you've got a chance to take them all home free of charge. That's right, October Toys & Freddy In Space have partnered up once more!
Here's a closer look at the series, and the five 2" PVC mini figures that are contained in it. The series has been released in a couple different colors, and it's the purple pack you are playing for tonight!

1. Multiskull designed/sculpt by Charles Marsh (Monsterforge)
2. Crawdad Kid designed/sculpt by Daniel Yu (Dory)
3. Phantom Outhouse designed by Kyle Thye / sculpt by Ralph Niese
4. King Castor designed/sculpt by Dominic Campisi (The Evil Earwig)
5. Stroll designed by John "Spanky" Stokes / sculpt by George Gaspar
As a big time fan and childhood collector of Monsters In My Pocket, these speak to me on an incredibly nostalgic level, which is why I love them so much and why I wanted to spread the love to you folks. So if you dig them as much as I, here's all you need to do to enter!
Leave me a comment below with your e-mail address and the name of your favorite Monsters In My Pocket creature. Ya know, just so I can be sure that those kinda toys are truly your bag!
The giveaway will run through next Tuesday, August 14th, so be sure to get your entries in by then. Good luck!
Hey by the way! The OMFG line has just been nominated for two Designer Toy Awards, in the categories of Best Mini Series and Fan Favorite. The Fan Favorite category is of course voted on by the fans, so you can head over to the Designer Toy Awards website and vote for them if they tickle your fancy! Voting ends September 1st, with winners announced in October at New York Comic Con.
Another exciting bit of news is that the Kickstarter campaign for OMFG Series 2 just met its funding goal about 24 hours ago, which means more of these little guys will soon be headed our way. Check out the campaign to see prototype images of the second series!!

these are really incredible mini-figures. i recently picked up a set of the flesh-colored [MUSCLE inspired!] OMFG from their site and they're great. the purple set looks delicious.
as for MiMP? i have a neon pink werewolf, a cereal premium, that i love.
Mad gasser of Mattoon from Series 3 (Super Scary series) reminds me of Harry Warden if he fell into a barrel of Toxic ooze

I was way more into M.U.S.C.L.E., so i didn't have any MIMP except for one. I got the Nintendo game for my birthday one year, and a MIMP came with that. I just looked him up, and his name was Blemmyea. I had the blue one. He fought alongside my M.U.S.C.L.E.s for years. He's probably still in a box of my old toys somewhere in my mom;s house.

Nessie or the Loch Ness Monster. Such an iconic creature and one I had an obsession with as a kid. As a toy, it was real solid with a wide base that would prevent it from falling over. I envisioned her character(yes, her) as being a good guy....'cause c'mon Nessie ain't tryin' to hurt nobody! Girl just has to eat!

Vampire.
I had an obsession with vampires when I was a kid, I have no idea where all my monsters have gone, I do have the original card game however.

My favorite toy from the Monsters in My Pocket series was the Jersey Devil because it looks like a HP Lovecraft creature. Such a great toy series and ranks right up there with Mighty Max for one of my favorite toys from my childhood.
