A few days before I headed off to Monster Mania, I held a little giveaway for the above limited edition Hellraiser poster, which artist Chris Garofalo created exclusively for the show, in honor of their Hellraiser reunion. I gave you folks not only the chance to win the poster, but also to get it signed personally to you, by the Hellraiser star of your choosing. I came through on my promise, and tonight I announce the winner!
But first, a very special thank you to Chris Garofalo, who generously donated the poster to the cause, free of charge. I wouldn't have been able to do this giveaway without Chris offering it up to me, so I can't thank him enough for his kindness. As I mentioned in my general recap, I ended up spending most of Saturday night getting drunk with Chris, and I can attest to the fact that he's not only a kickass artist, but a pretty awesome dude to boot. So again, thank you good sir!
Since I always wait until the zero hour to get shit done, I ended up picking up the poster from Chris' table about a half hour before the signing room closed for the day. And then it was off to meet Simon Bamford, who played Butterball in the Hellraiser films. It's funny because I've met a couple of the Cenobites and despite the fact that they're some of the scariest and most evil horror villains of all, in actuality they're all incredibly nice British gentleman. And Bamford is actually in great shape, despite how he looks in the movies. Go figure!

Well if you are Dustin Sain and Stacey Rode, you have every right to be excited, because you were the winners of the giveaway!
