Tonight, we take a wee little break from the horrifying, the gory and the hellish, to watch something truly adorable. So enjoy it while it lasts, because it's back to pain, misery and suffering after this ever so brief reprieve. Muahahaha!
Long story in a nutshell, filmmakers Chris Lamartina and Jimmy George are hard at work on the quest of bringing their next film to life, a bloody monster filled love letter to H.P. Lovecraft called Call Girl of Cthulhu. Virginal artist falls in love with a call girl who turns out to be the chosen bride of the alien god Cthulhu ... you know the drill.
In order to drum up interest for their Kickstarter fund, designed to raise the money needed to get the film in the can, Chris Lamartina enlisted the help of his five year old niece, Harper. In exchange for the promise of a trip to the toy store, Lamartina asked Harper to get her 'Kids Say The Darndest Things : Lovecraft Edition' on, and film a little video explaining who and what a Cthulhu is, as seen through the eyes of a five year old child. Yep, the end result is as precious as it sounds.
