Giveaway Time! Win HATEmale Clothing's New 8-Bit Freddy's Dead Shirt!!

 

Just this past Thursday, the above t-shirt went up for pre-order from HATEmale Clothing, the Massachusetts based t-shirt company that was just crowned indie t-shirt label of the year, by T-Shirt Addiction.  The shirt is of course inspired by one of my personal favorite moments from Freddy's Dead, where Freddy invades Spencer's dream space and proceeds to kill him inside of a video game, with a little help from a modified version of the ever popular NES Power Glove.

Since I am of course incredibly enamored with this shirt, which is one of the more clever horror movie inspired shirts I've ever seen, my immediate thought upon laying eyes on it went a little something like this....

HOLY SHIT.  I NEED TO GIVE THAT AWAY TO ONE OF MY READERS.

 

As I always say, when I really love something, I just have this burning desire to pass that something on to you fine folks.  That's what Freddy In Space is all about.  So I pitched HATEmale's owner Neil on the idea, and he graciously obliged my request.

Now this particular giveaway is super special because not only will the winner win this awesome t-shirt, but the shirt will in fact be NAMED BY that winner.  Let me explain!

A couple weeks back, Neil sent me a sneak peek preview image of the shirt, and wondered if I could perhaps come up with a clever name for it, for the description on the website.  I sent him a couple ideas, but if I'm being honest, I really wasn't able to come up with anything too impressive.  So Neil and I decided hey, if we're gonna give the shirt away, let's turn the giveaway into a t-shirt naming contest, in the process.  Sounds fun, doesn't it?!

So in order to enter to win this shirt, what you're gonna have to do is leave me a comment below, with a clever title for the shirt (be sure to also include your e-mail address!).  If you need an idea of what Neil's looking for, you can head over to HATEmale's online shop, to see what he has named past shirts he's put out.  Most of all though, just be creative, and clever!

 

Entries will be accepted through the end of the month, at which point Neil and I will choose a winner, and the shirt will officially be named, according to that winner's submission.

 

The release date for the shirt is scheduled for the end of February, and it can currently be pre-ordered from HATEmale Clothing's website, for $28.
